PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting device which has a search function for detecting receivable channels and is controllable by a remote controller. SOLUTION: The digital broadcasting device which is equipped with a CPU 6 and a reception state detecting unit 10, and searches for the receivable channels to store them in a memory 11 and displays the channels stored in the memory 11 at an OSD display unit 7 to prepare for reception is provided with a determination unit 14 which determines whether the searched channels are already registered, where the determination conditions by the determination unit 14 and display conditions of the determination result by the OSD display unit 7 can be set by the remote controller 13.
