PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting a glass container that can detect a vertical crack, horizontal crack, and the other crack of any angle on a bottle, is easily used by a user, and can be easily adjusted. SOLUTION: This device inspects an opening of a rotating glass container in an inspection station. A pair of light sources 20 and 21 have a horizontal optical axis that is rectangularly related to the axis of the container 10 and crosses the axis of the container. The light sources irradiate the opening of the container. The irradiated crack can be seen by a camera having a camera axis that matches with the axis of the container and forms an angle of 45°with respect to the optical axis and horizontal direction.
