PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the low mechanical strength of a container because of the fillet welding done for a bottom plate of an outer container, and also to improve the sealing performance of a cask. SOLUTION: The outer container 9 is placed outside an inner container 8 molded integrally by deep drawing. The outer container 9 is made of carbon steel and has the gamma-ray shielding function, but the sealing performance is not required of the outer container 9. Since the inner container 8 is shaped like a bottomed container by integral molding, it can prevent radioactive materials inside it from leaking. Especially, the container is characterized in that it has a neutron shield 2 placed outside the outer container 9 and baskets 5 located in a cavity 4 of the inner container 8 and constituting cells for accommodating recycle fuel assemblies through the plane alignment of square pipes composed of aluminum materials or materials made by adding boron or boron compounds to aluminum alloy and in that the outer container 9 consists of segments, which are located on the outer periphery of the inner container 8.
