PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass top plate for a drop-in type cooking stove efficiently manufactured at low cost with excellent appearance. SOLUTION: A metallic frame body 9 is provided along the rear side part of a top plate body 8 made of glass. The frame body 9 comprises an abutting part 14 abutting on the rear edge of the top plate body 8; a plate part 15 extending backward almost horizontally from the abutting part 14; a bleeder 20 penetrating the plate part 15 to communicate with the inside of a cooking stove body 3; a hood part 16 extending obliquely backward and upward from the abutting part 14; and a cover part 17 extending forward from the abutting part 14 to cover the upper face of the rear side part of the top plate body 8. The cover part 17 of the frame body 9 is bonded to the upper face of the rear side part of the top plate body 8 through a heat-resistant adhesive tape 21 having adhesive layers on both sides of the tape-like base material.
