PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bump stopper having the true durability in which a rubber volume of a stopper member is large, the stopper is not hit by a holding piece by the deformation during the bump, the holding piece can be easily and reliably corrosion-protected, and the durability not only the stopper member and that of the holding piece are enhanced. SOLUTION: The bump stopper comprises a stopper member 2 formed of a rubber material in a conical columnar shape, and a holding piece 4 which holds and fixes the stopper member 2 and can be mounted on other member 3. A groove 6 directed to a counter holding piece side is formed in an outer circumferential surface 5 of the stopper member 2 in a vicinity of the holding piece 4 so that the groove 6 prevents a deformation portion 7 of the stopper member 2 during the bump from being not abutted on the holding piece 4. In addition, by covering the surface of the holding piece 4 with the rubber material, the high shock-absorbing force is obtained during the bump, the durability is considerably high, and the cost can be reduced thereby.
