PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an appropriate POP display on electronic POP devices, coupled with price revisions of electronic shelf label devices. SOLUTION: The product information display system 1 has the electronic shelf label devices 2 displaying price information including sales prices 11, electronic POP devices 3 connected to the shelf label devices and displaying additional information added to the sale prices 11, a host device 4 controlling the displays of the electronic shelf label device 2 and the electronic POP devices 3. The host device 4 controls display by sending display control data to the electronic shelf label devices 2, makes the electronic shelf label devices 2 analyze the received display control data and display price information on the basis of the result of analysis, and determines whether or not directive information to make the electronic POP devices 3 display additional information is included. When it is determined that the directive information is included, the shelf label devices transfer the directive information to the electronic POP devices 3, and the electronic POP devices 3 display the additional information on the basis of the acquired directive information.
