The invention relates to a method for producing a film web having at least one weatherstrip, whereby the weatherstrip is directly joined to the film web via the weatherstrip material be it on the edge of the film web or further inward, during which the weatherstrip, during the extrusion thereof while still in a soft state, is united with the film web under pressure. The direct joining of the weatherstrip to the film, particularly the uniting of the weatherstrip immediately after the extrusion thereof, simplifies the production process without the dimensional stability of the weft being compromised thereby and without the strength of the bond being insufficient for the intended use. The inventively produced film with a weatherstrip is for use in construction industry be it in the building trade or building industry and, to be precise, both inside and outside, in the furniture industry, automotive industry, leisure sector and in agriculture. |
