SHEET-FORM SOFT-MAGNETIC MATERIAL AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A sheet-form soft-magnetic material which even when produced by superposing thin curable soft-magnetic sheets produced through coating-fluid application, has such a constitution that it is inhibited from changing in sheet thickness even at high temperatures or in a high-temperature high-humidity environment and reduced in fluctuation in magnetic permeability. The sheet-form soft-magnetic material is formed from a soft-magnetic composition obtained by mixing at least flat soft-magnetic particles, an acrylic rubber, an epoxy resin, a hardener for epoxy resins, and a solvent. The flat soft-magnetic particles have been oriented in in-plane directions for the sheet-form soft-magnetic material. The acrylic rubber may be one having glycidyl groups. The weight ratio of the flat soft-magnetic particles to the sum of the acrylic rubber, epoxy resin, and hardener for epoxy resins is from 3.7 to 5.8.
