A package type air conditioner is provided to form auxiliary air inlets and auxiliary air outlets further for increasing an air suction amount and an air discharge amount, thereby improving cooling efficiency. A package type air conditioner includes a main body(100), an outlet(110) formed at an upper part of a front surface of the main body, main air inlets(120) formed at lower parts of both side surfaces of the main body, auxiliary air inlets(130) formed at upper parts of the main air inlets, a main evaporator(140) mounted in the main air inlets for the heat exchange for the air sucked via the main air inlets, an auxiliary evaporator(150) mounted in the auxiliary air inlets for the heat exchange of the air sucked via the auxiliary air inlets, and a blower fan(160) mounted in the main body for sucking air via the main and auxiliary air inlets and discharging the air via the outlet after the heat exchange. Auxiliary air outlets are further formed at upper parts of the both side surfaces of the main body. |
