<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the density of an image formed on recording paper constant even when the concentration of toner of two-component developer in a developing device is changed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus which obtains a toner image by developing a latent image formed on a photoreceptor drum with the two-component developer composed of toner and carrier, an image forming condition calculation part calculates a new developing bias value based on a difference between the detected density of a reference patch image detected by a density detection sensor and target density set in accordance with the developing bias value correlated with the toner concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
