<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment put in an available state as the remote controller of a television receiver in such a state that a video to be displayed at a display part can be displayed at the image display part of the television receiver for solving the complicatedness of an operation by making it unnecessary to perform any operation to the television receiver, and to provide a television receiver operation system equipped with the portable electronic equipment and the television receiver. <P>SOLUTION: Signal transmission based on HDMI specification is performed with a television receiver, and control information for controlling the television receiver is acquired from the television receiver through a CEC signal transmission line, and a control signal for instructing control of the television receiver is transmitted through the CEC signal transmission line to the television receiver on the basis of control information acquired from the television receiver in a state a video signal can be transmitted to the television receiver through a TMDS signal transmission line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
