<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diet food composition enabling suppression in surplus intake of calories to prevent obesity. <P>SOLUTION: The diet food composition comprises (A) a jelly-like component such as pectin, polysaccharides, gelatine or agar, and (B) a stress-reducing component comprising antioxidative material, SOD-like material or the like. The diet food composition may comprise vegetable solid such as thickening polysaccharides or tapioca.
