<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent element which is almost free from a film separation in a hard coat structure, despite the fact that the hard coat structure with ultraviolet shielding function is furnished on a PC base. <P>SOLUTION: This transparent element includes a transparent resin base and the hard coat structure mounted on the transparent resin base. The hard coat structure includes an ultraviolet absorption layer arranged on the base side and the hard coat layer disposed on the ultraviolet absorption layer. In addition, an inorganic chemical compound buffer layer is inserted between the ultraviolet absorption layer and the base. This buffer layer enhances the adhesion between the ultraviolet absorption layer and the base. The base is made of polycarbonate resin and, and when the ultraviolet absorption layer is a zinc oxide film, a silicon oxide film may be used for the buffer layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
