PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a taste of a ready-to-win display in a simple constitution in a game machine executing a performance by the ready-to-win display. SOLUTION: This game machine has an identification symbol display means having a plurality of identification symbol display areas where a plurality of types of identification symbols are variably displayed and, when a combination of stationarily displayed identification symbols is a combination of predetermined winning symbols, produces a special game state advantageous for a player. This game machine is provided with a ready-to-win display determination means for determining whether or not executing the ready-to-win display, a ready-to-win symbol determination means for determining types of identification symbols to be used as ready-to-win symbols, a ready-to-win possible symbol display means for displaying types of identification symbols usable for the ready-to-win symbols as ready-to-win possible symbols, a ready-to-win possible symbol change means for changing the types of the ready-to-win possible symbols, and a ready-to-win symbol determination means, when the ready-to-win display determination means determines to execute the ready-to-win display, determining the ready-to-win symbols out of the ready-to-win possible symbols displayed on the ready-to-win possible symbol display means.
