<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of desired glossiness by transferring a toner image to a non-transparent layer with desired material and thickness, etc. suitable for the transfer process, on a transparent layer side. <P>SOLUTION: A method for forming an image sheet comprises: a first process for supplying a second sheet composed of the non-transparent layer; a second process for transferring a toner image on the second sheet; a third process for holding the toner image on the toner image carrier surface with the first sheet and the second sheet by arranging the image carrying surface of the second sheet and the transparent layer of the first sheet which has a transparent layer formed on the base body sheet opposite to each other; and a fourth process for peeling off the base body sheet from the first sheet.
