PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair in which a seat is lowered when a person sits on the seat and a lumbar support section of a backrest moves forward in association with a downward movement of the seat, and by which a user's uncomfortable feeling can be eliminated by slowly lowering the seat. SOLUTION: A rear support link 14 inclines rearward when a person sit on the seat. A drive shaft 42 is fixed to the rear support link 14 and a first association link 43 and a second association link 46 turn by the rotation of the drive shaft. An arm body 82 turnably supported by a receiving member 41 is arranged below the first interlocking link 43, and the arm body 82 turns in association with the turning first interlocking link 43. The rotary shaft of a rotary damper is connected to the arm body 82 and the resistance of the rotary damper is provided to the turning of the arm body 82. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
