<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method that improves the electrical characteristics and the lifetime, by executing reaction between silicon in an n layer and a surface silver electrode in a fully stable state, in a solar cell by utilizing firethrough method, and includes a first conductivity-type silicon substrate, a second conductivity-type semiconductor layer whose sheet resistance is not larger than 80 Ω/sq. and formed on a light-receiving surface of the first conductivity-type silicon substrate, and an antireflection film formed on a surface opposite to the second conductivity-type semiconductor layer against a surface of the same contacting with the first conductivity-type silicon substrate, the solar cell eroding the second conductivity-type semiconductor layer from a surface opposite to the antireflection film against the surface of the same contacting with the second conductivity-type semiconductor layer, bursting though the antireflection membrane, toward the first conductivity-type silicon substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the solar cell forms a metal electrode, by firing electrode paste whose glass content is 3 wt.% and whose glass-softening temperature is 500°C at a maximum temperature of 850°C and a holding time of 60 sec, wherein the paste has been applied on the second conductivity-type semiconductor layer and dried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
