<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing a problem due to maintenance of low-efficiency operation and improving stability of system operation. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel cell system (1), the temperature of a fuel cell (2) is increased in a short time in comparison with a normal operation when low-efficiency operation having a greater power loss than the normal operation is carried out at a predetermined temperature. When a predetermined condition is satisfied at a predetermined low temperature, the low efficiency-operation is prohibited and normal operation is carried out. The predetermined condition includes a case when generated power of the fuel cell (2) cannot be consumed, a case when the generated power cannot be accumulated in a battery (62), and a case when flooding of the fuel cell (2) is caused. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
