<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive synchronous motor with improved productivity that executes stable synchronous pull-in operation, while suppressing the occurrence of reverse rotational torque in starting operation. <P>SOLUTION: When the rotational frequency of a rotor 1 reaches a prescribed rotational frequency near a synchronous rotation frequency, starting operation is executed, while the conduction range of a motor current is suppressed so that the conduction direction of a motor current waveform, whose phase is delayed more than that of the output waveform of a detection sensor 17, is switched at least at the zero-cross point of the output waveform of the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
