<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum spread communication device capable of easily performing handovers among different frequencies. <P>SOLUTION: The spectrum spread communication device comprises a radio-frequency receiving unit 25 for intermittently receiving a compressed frame at compression mode, a timing/despreading unit 51 for detecting a first search code and a second search code during a non-transmission period in the compression mode, a detection and determination unit 52 for determining those search codes based on the predetermined standard; and a control unit 21E for controlling handovers among different frequencies, by establishing synchronism with other frequency carriers, based on the first search code and second search code detected by the detection and determination unit 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
