PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of continue a previous ultrasonic examination easily after an ultrasonic examination is stopped immediately during operation and other ultrasonic examination is performed. SOLUTION: The control means 004 receives the instruction of stop or restart of ultrasonic examination from a user interface 001 and performs the stop or restart of the ultrasonic examination, and the control means 004 makes a temporary memory means 008 memorize the control information for controlling at least one of a transmitting and receiving means 003, an image processing means 005, a date storing means 006 and a display control means 009, and reads out the control information from the temporary memory means 008 when it is restarted, restore it to the state just before interruption from the control information and restarts, and the display control means 009 displays the stop on the display means 010 during interrupting the ultrasonic examination, and it deletes the display showing the stop from the display means 010 when the ultrasonic examination is restarted.
