<p>A reflector (30) is formed as an aspherical mirror in which, in light distribution S1, the expansion of reflected light in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle is greater than that in the lateral direction of the vehicle. The light distribution expanded in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle (3) makes light less likely to impinge on the side surface of the vehicle (3), and as a result, the area behind the vehicle (3) is efficiently illuminated without waste. Therefore, the maximum illumination is enabled with the minimum light quantity. In addition, since the range of illumination is long in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, not only the place where feet are placed on the outer side of a front door (5) but also the place where feet are placed on the outer side of a rear door (6) can be easily illuminated.</p> |
