Provided herein are methods for treating or preventing neuropathy, neurop athy-related conditions, wherein the neuropathy or neuropathy-related condit ions are induced by, or otherwise associated with, treatment of the subject with at least one chemotherapeutic agent, the methods comprising administeri ng an effective amount of an isoflavonoid compound of formula (I). Also prov ided are methods for the treatment of nerve damage. Also provided are uses o f isoflavonoid compounds of formula (I) in the treatment of neuropathy, neur opathy-related conditions and nerve damage.
