<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress completion of PM regeneration treatment at a suitable time from becoming difficult by deteriorating presumption accuracy of a residual amount of PM remained in a filter by deteriorating presumption accuracy of a regeneration speed of PM in execution of PM regeneration treatment relative to the filter provided on an exhaust gas passage of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure in the filter when the PM regeneration treatment is executed by a filter pressure obtaining means is obtained (S101), and an oxidation speed of PM is accurately presumed based on the pressure in the filter (S102). Further, the completion timing of the PM regeneration treatment is determined based on the PM residual amount calculated by multiplying the oxidation speed of PM and the PM regeneration period (S103-S106). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
