PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device cooling the stator laminate of an electric machine. SOLUTION: The coaxial stack of a laminate for a stator in the electric machine uses a plurality of laminates that are substantially identical and abut mutually and directly. Each laminate has outer and inner peripheral sections. The outer peripheral section is demarcated by the array of pins projecting outside, and the inner peripheral section is demarcated by the array of gear teeth projecting inside. The pin projecting outside cooperates with a jacket providing a cooling space for surrounding the stack. A cooling fluid flows through the cooling space and the gear teeth receive stator winding, thus providing an aligned space between the teeth. The number of pins n<SB>pin</SB>is proportional to the number of teeth n<SB>th</SB>according to (2K+1)/2K<SB>th</SB>times the number of gear teeth n<SB>th</SB>. In this case, K is a selected integer, and K<SB>th</SB>is the number of gear teeth passing when each laminate is rotated relating to an adjacent laminate so that the space between the gear teeth of the adjacent laminate is aligned.
