PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor apparatus in which positional relation of a rotor and a rotation sensor for detecting the position of the magnetic pole of the rotor is rationalized simply and correctly, and compaction and weight reduction are achieved while sustaining high detection accuracy of the rotor and high motor efficiency. SOLUTION: The electric motor apparatus 1 comprises a rotor 12, a stator core 13 surrounding the rotor 12, a tubular motor case 11 for securing the stator core 13 to the inner surface and containing the rotor 12, and a Hall element 15 for detecting the position of the magnetic pole of the rotor 12 wherein a lid member 11b for securing the Hall element 15 is provided at the end of the motor case 11.
