PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful recording medium regenerating device capable of displaying an arbitrary text data during regeneration of a multimedia file. SOLUTION: A HDD integrated optical disc drive (recording medium regenerating device) 10 executes an arbitrary multimedia file and text file in parallel without synchronization, that are the files recorded on the same recording medium and are selected respectively by operation. The text data which are displayed by executing the text file are displayed each by a specified amount, and sequentially fed by operation, or sequentially fed each at a predetermined specified time.
