PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable production of a macro-block having a large aspect ratio using an ASIC design method. SOLUTION: A light sensing part 5 that is formed of a plurality of solid-state image sensing elements arranged in the shape of an array and an elongated macro-block (TG circuit) 23 having a high aspect ratio arranged along an extending direction of the light sensing part 5 to have a processing function for the light sensing part 5 are provided on a sensor chip 4. This macro-block 23 is constituted with a plurality of macro-cells 23a arranged in a single line in the extending direction of the light sensing part 5 and each macro-cell 23a is produced using a basic cell of the standard cell system. Since the macro-block 23 is formed of the plurality of macro-cells 23a and each macro-cell 23a is produced using the standard cell system as the ASIC design method, even the macro-block 23 having a large aspect ratio can also be produced in a single line.
