PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method for a supply device for an aligning conveyor capable of accurately determining rotating angles of articles placed on an endless track at relatively low cost, the supply device for the aligning conveyor using the operating method and a boxing device. SOLUTION: This operating method for the supply device for the aligning conveyor has the endless track 204, a two-dimensional code reading device 202 arranged above the endless track 204 and a control device 30 constituted so as to enable communications with the two-dimensional code reading device 202. The operating method for the supply device for the aligning conveyor includes an angle acquiring step in which the two-dimensional code reading device 202 acquires a reading angle of a two-dimensional code Q displayed on the upper face of an article W carried on the endless track 204 and a rotating angle calculating step in which the control device 30 acquires the reading angle from the two-dimensional code reading device 202 and calculates the rotating angle of the article W based on the reading angle.
