PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing structure and a shock-absorbing member, which reliably protect an object to be packed from an external shock by increasing the strength of the shock-absorbing member without increasing the size of a packing box when packing the object such as a liquid crystal TV set of low profile. SOLUTION: A projection part 83 is formed on a right face of a right bottom side shock-absorbing member 80 which has a recess 81 for inserting a right bottom corner part of a liquid crystal TV set 1 and is interposed between the liquid crystal TV set 1 and a bottom side packing box 20 to protect the liquid crystal TV set 1 from the external shock. A hole part 26 for storing the projection part 83 is formed in a right wall part 24 of the bottom side packing box 20.
