PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift controller for pre-treating section of a combine harvester easily carrying out fine adjustment of the lifting height of the pre-treating section. SOLUTION: The lift controller for pre-treating section of a combine harvester comprises the pre-treating section installed as vertically movable on a front part of a traveling body, a lift cylinder expanding and contracting according to the change-over operation of an electromagnetic valve to vertically drive the pre-treating section, a lifting operating means vertically operating the pre-treating section via the lift cylinder, a lifting operation detecting means 16, 17 detecting the lifting operation of the lifting operating means, and performs lift control of the pre-treating section via the lift cylinder by a change-over operation of the electromagnetic valve, wherein the initial lifting speed of the pre-treating section is set to a slower speed than the lifting speed after initial stage of lifting operation by carrying out an inching drive of the lift cylinder by an intermittent actuation of the electromagnetic valve in a predetermined time period after start of the lifting operation by the lifting operating means.
