PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of enhancing the operability by combining the longitudinal movement with the rotational movement of an operation element. SOLUTION: The steering device 1 comprises a first bevel gear 6 which is rotated by the longitudinal movement of grips 102L, 102R and revolved by the rotation around the longitudinal axes of the grips 102L, 102R, a second bevel gear 7 to be engaged with the first bevel gear 6, a turning mechanism 11 for turning a wheel according to the rotation of a steering shaft 5 connected to the second bevel gear 7, and a guide mechanism 12 for rotating the grips 102L, 102R according to the longitudinal movement of the grips 102L, 102R.
