摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally integrated fuel cell humidifier for rapid warm-up which can maintain as much single phase vapor as possible in various gas passages in a fuel cell system and similarly can control a heat loss from the system to a minimal extent. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell lamination module is composed of a fuel cell lamination body and an edge unit which are parts of a thermally integrated assembly. The module contains an air supply cooler and a WVT unit integrated in the edge unit. Cooling fluid is conveyed by a pump through the edge unit and the fuel cell lamination body. The cooling fluid is conveyed through the air supply cooler in order to lower a temperature of a cathode entrance air flow which is conveyed to the fuel cell lamination body. The cooled cathode entrance air from the air supply cooler is conveyed to the WVT unit where the air is humidified. A cathode exhaust gas from the fuel cell lamination body is conveyed to the WVT unit in order to provide humidity to humidify the cathode entrance air. A bypass valve provided in the edge unit can be utilized to bypass the WVT unit during a room temperature start-up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
