<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus composed such that an image reading section can be easily opened or closed while stably supported. <P>SOLUTION: An image scanner section 3 is disposed on a print section 2. The image scanner section 3 is supported by the print section 2 so as to be able to rotate around a rotating center axis C. The print section 2 has a lower side housing 210 of a substantially rectangular as viewed above. The image scanner 3 has an upper side housing 310 of a substantially rectangular as viewed above. The lower side housing 210 and upper side housing 310 are composed so that a second upper side corner 315 that is one of the corners of the upper side housing 310 projects from a second lower side corner 216 that is a corner of the lower side housing 210, located immediately below it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
