<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration adjusting method and a printing machine which can prevent spoilage and improve economics by improving detection of register marks. <P>SOLUTION: Positions of register marks to be printed on paper are predicted and a plate cylinder 25 is preset on the basis of the prediction. From a difference between the printed actual positions of the register marks and the predicted positions, subsequently, predicted values of the positions of the register marks to be used in the next operation are compensated. In the case where the predicted value of the register mark is A, the actual position of the register mark B, and the predicted value of the register mark after compensation A', for instance, the compensation is performed by A'=A+(B-A)×k (k is a coefficient less than 1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
