<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for enabling an air bag to instantly jump out in a good condition toward the front of an occupant from between a rim part of a steering wheel and a pad. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device inflates the air bag stored in the pad 30 in front of the occupant by passing through the inside of the rim part 21 of the steering wheel 20, by rupturing an upper surface of the pad of the steering wheel in an emergency. The air bag device has an inflator 40 supplying inflation gas to the air bag and a nozzle part 50 connecting a gas outlet 41 of the inflator 40 to the air bag. The air bag has a lower side roll part 71 rolled up from a lower part on the lower side of a gas deriving part to the gas deriving part 13 to the air bag on the tip of the nozzle part 50, and an upper side roll part 72 of wrapping in at least a part of the lower side roll part 71 from the upper side on the upper side of the gas deriving part to the gas deriving part 13, in a state of being stored in the pad 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
