PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure mechanical strength of a liquid crystal display even when the liquid crystal display is made thin. SOLUTION: A first outside frame 11 has a first side wall 43 extending to a second outside frame 12 side and the second outside frame 12 has a second side wall 37 extending along the first side wall 43 and bonded to the first side wall 43. A notched part 5 is formed in the second outside frame 12 in a region including a part of the second side wall 37 and a reinforcing part 6 whose wall thickness is increased as compared with the peripheral part thereof is formed in the first side wall 43 so as to cover a part of the notched part 5.
