<p>A magnetic encoder (16) comprises a plastic multipolar magnet (23) having magnetic poles arranged alternately in the circumferential direction, a slinger (24) for holding the multipolar magnet (23), and a disclike fixing cover (41) having a through hole at the center and the outer diameter side end (45) which is bent in the axial direction in order to prevent falling-off of the multipolar magnet (23) from the slinger (24). The slinger (24) holds the magnet such that a plane (29a) located on the inner side of the multipolar magnet (23) touches a plane (28d) located on the outer side of a flange (28b). The fixing cover (41) is arranged such that a plane (46) located on the inner side of a planar portion (42) touches a plane (29b) located on the outer side of the multipolar magnet (23), and the outer diameter side end (45) is bent to the inner diameter side and hooked onto the outer diameter side end (28c) of the flange (28b).</p> |
