<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a positive electrode active material for a lithium-ion secondary battery reduced in content of a metal foreign matter. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a positive electrode active material for the lithium-ion secondary battery, a massive calcined object of lithium transition metal compound oxide is applied an impact crushing treatment by an impact type pulverizing machine and lithium transition metal compound oxide powder of average particle size D (D is a number 5-25) is obtained. Then, the lithium transition metal compound oxide powder is applied a classification treatment by establishing a classification point to remove a low particle size component at any value of 0.6×D μm or less and a classification point to remove a high particle size component at any value of 1.2×D μm or more using an air classifier, and a positive electrode active material consisting of the lithium transition metal oxide powder of the average particle size of 5-25 μm removed of the low particle size component, and the high particle size component is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
