<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can suppress transport failures of recording medium in a fixing section, without causing the quality of images to deteriorate. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes a photoreceptor drum, an exposure device, a development device, a transfer device, a fixing device, and a control section. The exposure device forms an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum based on image data. The development device develops the electrostatic latent image to make it into a toner image. The transfer device transfers the toner image on paper transported in a prescribed direction. The fixing device makes the toner image fixed on the paper. The control part mutually compares the toner images of the front end region and the rear-end region of the paper in the transport direction of the paper, based on the image data, and outputs the image data to the exposure device so that the front end and the rear end of the toner image are reversed, when the rear end region has a toner amount smaller than that of the front end region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
