PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately monitor a condition of tires even when a vehicle traveling speed is high, while reducing a cost needed for manufacturing a device body. SOLUTION: A tire condition monitoring device 1 includes transponders 4FL-4RR mounted on a plurality of tires 3FL-3RR equipped on a vehicle 2. The tire condition monitoring device 1 further includes ECUs 5FL-5RR provided to the vehicle body, each of which transmits a call radio wave for obtaining data indicating conditions of the tires to the transponders 4FL-4RR at a certain interval. ECUs 5FL-5RR are configured to transmit the call radio wave within a communicatable range where the transponders 4FL-4RR can communicate, by predicting a transmission timing of the call radio wave at the predetermined transmission interval, and maintaining the predetermined transmission interval when the predicted transmission timing satisfies a predetermined requirement, or otherwise adjusting the transmission interval.
