PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of planar heating elements capable of drastically reducing generated electromagnetic waves with a simple structure without significantly increasing cost. SOLUTION: The plurality of planar heating elements 10 are sequentially arranged side by side to superpose only adjacent electrode wires 12 and 13 on each other between the planar heating elements adjacent to each other; and power is applied to the respective planar heating elements 10 to carry currents of phases in which only polarities are opposite to each other to the respective electrode wires 12 and 13 superposed on each other to negate electromagnetic waves generated from them by each other. When such planar heating elements are installed, the electromagnetic waves generated from the respective superposed electrode wires of the adjacent planar heating elements negate each other, and the generated electromagnetic waves are set close to zero as a whole. Only parts of the electrode wires are superposed on each other but heat generation parts are not superposed on each other, whereby loss of the areas of the heat generation parts or substantial increase of thickness and weight thereof is not caused.
