PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for shot processing for improving the quality of the surface treatment of a workpiece by stabilizing the quality of the shot material by classifying foreign substances, such as burrs, intruded during the circulation of the shot material shot to the workpiece. SOLUTION: The apparatus for shot processing improves the quality of the surface treatment of the workpiece by stabilizing the quality of the shot material by classifying foreign substances, such as burrs, intruded during the circulation of the shot material shot to the workpiece. The apparatus for shot processing comprises: a turning processing section for rotatably holding the workpiece; a blasting chamber body for surrounding the workpiece and the turning processing section; a hopper for storing the shot material; a shot material accelerating means to be connected to the hopper so as to shoot the shot material to the workpiece; a vibration filtering machine which separates the shot material having appropriate grain size, the shot material having the grain size deviated from a standard of the grain size, and foreign substances among circulating shot materials, and has an over-flow pipe in the passage for recirculating the excess shot material having appropriate grain size; and a carrying means for carrying the shot material shot to the workpiece to the vibration filtering machine.
