PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which economically realizes a structure enabling an operator to easily hold own posture in a high rigidity holding state, in a harvester for harvesting ripened crops. SOLUTION: The front cover 30 of the harvester, which is vertically disposed in front of a steering column 9 for pivotally supporting the shaft of a steering handle 11 and in front of a driver's seat has an integrally formed substantially vertically extended grip portion 33, on the upper end portion of the front cover 30 and on the step side to the driver's seat 12.
