<p>The invention relates to a method for making a wooden cask (10), mainly a wine cask, comprising staves (12), hoops (14), an upper bottom (16) and a lower bottom (18), characterised in that it comprises the following steps: assembling each of the staves (12) with identical dimensions on a flat surface from at least two wooden boards, a noble wood I for the inner board and a less noble wood II for the outer board, the two boards being assembled so as to for a monolithic stave; shaping each stave (12) by hot pressing; mounting the bottoms (16, 18) of identical staves (12) by juxtaposition; and placing the holding hoops (14). The invention also relates to a kit for making the cask.</p> |
