A speaker having improved sound quality by reducing a phase difference and also having an excellent appearance is provided. In a speaker (1) comprising a vibrator (10), a drive portion (20) for vibrating the vibrator (10), and a frame (30) for supporting the vibrator (10) and the drive portion (20), the vibrator (10) has a protruded cross-section portion (T<SUB>1</SUB>) in the center thereof, a front portion (10A) for forming a continuous curved surface having a recessed cross-section portion (T<SUB>2</SUB>) in the periphery thereof, and a connection portion (10B) to which the drive portion (20) is connected in the rear direction of the front portion (10A).
