An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to supply a positive discharge voltage or a gate on voltage to a first switching device of each pixel even after power voltage is cut off, and prevent afterimages after the power voltage is cut off according as the first switching device is turned off to discharge an image data voltage. A voltage generator(700) outputs a gate on voltage to a first output node(N1), and outputs a gate off voltage to a second output node(N2). The voltage generator pulls up a voltage level of the second output node into a positive discharge voltage level after a power voltage is cut off. A gate driver(400) sequentially provides the gate on voltage and the gate off voltage. A data driver(500) provides an image data voltage. An LC panel(300) has plural pixels(PX) for displaying images corresponding to the image data voltage by being turned on/off according to the gate on voltage and the gate off voltage.
