PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver for a mobile object capable of storing two or more pieces of preset data for which the identification information of tunable broadcasting signals is registered and easily selecting the data suited to a present location from them. SOLUTION: When receiving a preset data generation command, a digital television reception control part 48 retrieves the broadcast channels of the entire broadcast signals tunable in a tuner part 42, and stores the broadcast channels as the preset data in a memory 46 together with vehicle location information and time information. Also, when receiving a preset data selection command, the preset data stored in the memory part 46 are listed and displayed together with the location information and the time information and the preset data selected on the display image are set as the data for tuning. Also, when the automatic changeover of the preset data is set, the preset data whose location information is closest to the current location of the vehicle are retrieved from the preset data stored in the memory part 46 and they are set as the data for tuning.
