<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the quality of an electric wave from an in-vehicle ETC unit and a site in which an antenna is installed, when a vehicle passes through an ETC lane. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving part 12 monitors reception of an ETC response electric wave, a signal processing part 13 visualizes an electric wave emission source by using the received electric wave, and an upper photographing part 15 photographs an upper front image of the vehicle concurrently. When the visualization has been performed, the signal processing par 13 specifies the direction and the location of the electric wave emission source from the result of the visualization, estimates a distance from an ETC roadside antenna to the electric wave emission source based on the direction of the electric wave emission source, and calculates intensity of an electric wave emitted from an in-vehicle antenna. The signal processing part 13 creates a composite image by superposing the result of the visualization on the upper front image of the vehicle photographed by the upper photographing part 15, and displays it on a display part 18 along with the result of calculating the intensity of the electric wave output from the in-vehicle antenna. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
