<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording and reproducing device for facilitating character input. <P>SOLUTION: Processing executed by a CPU with which a video recording and reproducing device is provided so as to receive inputs of characters includes: a step (S510) for sensing reception of a signal representing start of title input; a step (S514) for sensing the reception of a signal representing start of track input; a step (S520) for deciding whether or not a signal representing completion of the track input is received; a step (S522) for enquiring whether or not character input is to be completed; a step (S530) for deciding whether or not a signal representing the completion of character input is received; a step (S540) for deciding whether or not a signal representing an instruction to convert characters into Chinese characters is received; and a step (S550) for deciding whether or not a signal representing completion of the title input is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
